I've been looking to see a Nutria for a long time. The first time I was in Oregon I heard about them, but never saw them. When I got here this time, I kept trying to see one. This nutria was in our backyard eating the apples on the ground. Apparently they like apples. He was very cooperative with getting his picture taken. Posted by Picasa

I don't know what is wrong with his face. Apparently he has a boo-boo Posted by Picasa

New Pets

There are a few new pets over here in Oregon. Samson and Mortimer are two new ferrets that Joel and Ellen (and everyone else) got before I got here. A few days ago we also got Strawberry the kitty. We also have two new rat friends named "Pickle" and "Olive". I can take pictures of them later. Our pets are now Ferrets: Bandit, Sam, Mort, Pepper, Cootie, Taz; Rats: Baby, Pickle, Olive, Peekaboo; Bunnies: Peter and Fred; Kitty: Strawberry. The rabbits will be leaving soon, as nobody really pays attention to them. There will probably be a dog in the near future for security purposes.

Our new bug friend, warrior bug! I've never seen a praying mantis in real life before. Posted by Picasa

Joel, Jessica, and Rosie worked on taking down this playhouse. It's a death trap, so the materials are going to be used to fix the shed and make a rabbit hutch Posted by Picasa
