On August 9th, at a little after 11:00 p.m., my grandpa, Lyman Carpenter, passed away. He knew and loved the Lord, becoming a Christian at the age of 15. I know I will see him again in heaven and he will be whole and healthy. We miss you, grandpa!
We love you grandpa!

We were able to babysit Asher one day. We had trouble getting Asher to burp, but the moment he got with dad, watching football, he belched quite loudly. I guess a "manly environment" will do that to a little guy.

Thugs on the side of the building. Don't they look dangerous?
The Triple P puppet team went to Chicago (actually part of Chicago called Cicero). We helped with VBS and did puppet performances in the park. It was fun. We drove 3 days there and 3 days back and were there for 4 days. We were all glad to be back to dry heat. You certainly sweat a lot more in Chicago!
We visited Wall Drug, which is a goofy tourists trap. It had this dinosaur which roared every 15 minutes.

Eating Chicago pizza. It wasn't anything spectacular in my opinion. It tasted like regular good pizza.
